About us — VRChat Archive is made by Kawaii Studio, a development, modding and creation studio. We build the archive, the desktop app and the in-game mod, write tutorials to learn Unity, and create Unity assets and tools for creators — with a lovely community around it all.

RULES & CREATOR POLICY
Registering means you accept the rules below. Creators: takedown and blacklist requests are free, read by a human, and always honoured.
- Credit the creator. Every file here was made by someone. If you use or share it, say who made it and link their page when you can.
- Never claim someone else's work. Re-uploading an archived asset as your own, or selling it, is theft — and it ends your account.
- Learn, study, preserve. Assets are here for personal and educational use. Commercial use needs the creator's explicit permission, not ours.
- Everything is provided as-is. We keep files the way we found them: we cannot promise they are complete, current, or safe to drop into every project.
- Respect takedowns. When a creator asks us to remove or blacklist their work, it comes down and stays down. Do not re-upload it here or anywhere else.
- No crashers, no malware. Uploading anything built to crash, exploit or harm other people gets you removed immediately.
- Use the archive fairly. Mass-downloading to resell, scraping, harassment or ban evasion means a permanent ban.
VRChat Archive is a preservation archive. We exist so that avatars, worlds and assets don't vanish when a store closes, a link dies or an account is deleted — not to replace the people who make them. Everything here exists because a creator made it, and we want that to stay visible.
You stay in control of your work. If you'd rather not see something of yours here, tell us and we'll remove it or add it to the blacklist — free, with no justification needed. A link to your store page, a licence, or any proof the work is yours is all we ask.
How to reach us: create an account, then send your request through our official Discord or the DMCA form. A human reads every request — and if we got something wrong, we'll fix it.
Where the money goes: everything we collect keeps this project alive — hosting, storage, bandwidth. We never sell assets: they belong to the community. What we sell is access to the archive and the tools we build around it — our repair systems and our in-game mod.
This archive is built and paid for by the community — hosting, storage and bandwidth come out of pocket. It exists so people can learn to create: avatars, worlds, VFX, sound design. If it has ever helped you, a tip keeps it online.
