What VRChat Archive preserves

VRChat Archive is a community-run archive dedicated to preserving VRChat and Unity content so that rare, old and hard-to-find creations are not lost. Across the archive you'll find VRChat avatars, complete VRChat worlds, custom shaders, reusable prefabs and packaged unitypackages — all catalogued, searchable and kept safe in the spirit of the Internet Archive.

Inside VRChat

The in-game mod

73 feature modules and 224 settings inside VRChat itself, built and maintained by the community. Every member gets the whole mod free for 24 hours — sign in to Kawaii Studio, install it, and your trial starts the first time you play with it. After that the mod comes with the Supporter tier at $5 a month. Two extras the server delivers are gated on their own: the Bundle Patcher (Premium) and the Bundle Recorder (Legendary).

Protection

Anti-Crash — scans every avatar loading near you and switches off the parts built to crash people. Eleven clamps, all reversible.
Anti-Udon — blocks world scripts firing at crasher rates, with a hard panic switch.
Photon Guard — drops hostile network events before VRChat ever sees them, and mutes the sender.
Bundle guard — refuses absurdly large avatar bundles before Unity ever touches them.
NSFW filter — hides parts of other people's avatars on your screen only. Nothing is destroyed.
Undo journal — every clamp records what it replaced, so switching it off restores the avatar exactly.

See what's around you

Community player tags — tags above nameplates with colour and fifteen animated effects, plus the FewTags database.
Who blocked me — marks the people who blocked you, read off VRChat's own moderation data, live.
AFK / seated / VR badges — who is away, sitting, in a station or in VR, from values VRChat already sends.
Watchlist — flag people: a rainbow outline when they are present, a banner the moment they arrive.
ESP & glow — capsules, real-geometry outlines on players, pickups and portals, or the classic 2D box.
Radar & panels — a minimap with world overlay, a live player list, and a join/leave feed.
Anti-Block — blocked players render normally instead of becoming invisible shells.
HUD master switch — one press clears everything the mod draws, one press brings it all back.

Movement FLY IS FREE FOR EVERYONE

Fly & Noclip — free flight with WASD, boost, and right-mouse to pass through walls. Free, forever.
Click to teleport — aim somewhere and click to move there. Also free.
Force Jump — a real jump even in worlds that switched jumping off.
Speed control — your own walk, run, strafe and jump values, re-applied when a world resets them.
Gravity off & Rotator — float, lie down, go upside down, and take the camera with you.
Ghost & Box Drop — others see you standing still while you move, or offset where the network thinks you are.

Objects, worlds and people

Force Grab & Pickup — pull any grabbable prop to your hands, and make a world's locked props grabbable again.
Object Orbit — rips the loose props out of a world and spins them in a ring around you or around someone else.
Elevator — gathers those same props into a platform under someone and drives it straight up.
Orbit / sit on a player — circle someone at a fixed radius, or perch on their avatar and follow them around.
Grab players — two people running the mod can pick each other up and throw each other. Consensual by design.
Mark & Object Art — drop an anchor and arrange a world's loose objects into shapes.
Infinite Portal — the portals you drop stop expiring, and the wait between drops is gone.
Video player control — queue a URL in the world's player for everyone, or play something only you can see.

For the fun of it

Bad Apple in the chatbox — plays Bad Apple!! as shadow art in your VRChat chatbox, frame by frame.
Soundboard — every other mod user in the instance hears the clip. Only a short key crosses the network, never audio.
Spawn stinger — a sound when you land in an instance, and a personal one tied to a specific person.
Mimic — wear someone's pose bone for bone, repeat their chatbox, or copy their voice stream.
Custom username — changes the name a world's scripts read for you on your own client.
VRC+ backgrounds — the menu backgrounds VRChat keeps behind VRC+, shown on your own screen.

Archive Favorites grid — your unlimited Archive favourites as a real card grid inside VRChat's own avatar menu.
Add to Archive button — sits next to VRChat's star and writes straight to your Archive favourites.
Live cache log — every avatar bundle the game pulls, listed the moment it loads.
In-game decryptor — leaves VRChat's download cache readable instead of encrypted.

Menu & control MOSTLY FREE

QuickMenu tab — a real VRChat Archive tab inside VRChat's own menu, with four pages.
Cards on the user menu — Clone Avatar, Copy Avatar Id, Orbit, Sit on, right where you click someone.

Udon Console — a live feed of what a world's scripts are doing around you, and who owns each object.

Per-module profiler — exactly how many milliseconds each mod feature costs, so a slow one gets named.

The desktop app

A companion app with eighteen tabs — and ten of them need no mod at all. It archives your own creations automatically from a folder you choose, follows your instances live, manages your favourites, runs the OSC chatbox and translator tools, and gives every mod setting a real window instead of a panel floating in VR.

That is the tier the in-game mod lives on, after a free 24-hour trial every member gets once. For comparison, VRChat+ is $10 a month for cosmetics, and other paid VRChat mods run $25–30 a month for the in-game features alone. The archive itself stays free — a free account gets you the catalogue, Ultimate Search, the free creator tools and unlimited uploading. Higher tiers add more: Premium $20 adds the mod's Bundle Patcher, VIP $50 and Legendary $80 go further, up to the Bundle Recorder. You can also earn a tier by bringing people in instead of paying for it.

Prices for VRChat+ and other mods are as publicly advertised at the time of writing.
